Follow up: You have sex with 50 women, you've made 50 covenants with people you have no love for or ties to. There are women out there who are not chugging the feminist Kool-Aid you just have to look harder for them. According to this guy, I shouldn't consider marriage because I'm overweight and apparently I still need to hit up 49 more women. Guess I'd better hurry; I'll be 50 in April.
Edit: There's also the double standard. If you're a guy and sleep with 50 women, you're praised. If you're a woman, you sleep with 50 guys you're branded as a slut. I never cared for that mindset.

I will now give my experiences on these 5 points...
I've thought about marriage since I was a teen. Decided early on it wasn't for me but lately I've been reconsidering my options. Did not have to have sex with 50 women before I thought about it.
I'm overweight and out of shape. Still had a girlfriend who claimed to love me (Fell out since then since she was looney toons) and I kind of feel Gaines is a bit of a jerk for saying out of shape guys shouldn't date.
I draw disability and that is nowhere near 100k a year. I live from paycheck to paycheck because this economy is screwed up. I didn't need 100k a year to date.
Okay, I might agree you should have some money saved before marriage.
In the eyes of God sex is something you have with your spouse, not strangers. Idiot!
